DNSH
What is DNSH?
The DNSH principle is based on what is specified in the “Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance,” which was adopted to promote private sector investment in green and sustainable projects as well as help achieve the goals of the Green Deal.
All funding calls related to the NRRP are issued in compliance with the Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principle, thus disbursable only on domestic interventions that do not cause any significant harm to the environment.
Funding recipients (SMEs and PAs) will have to demonstrate that the projects proposed in response the calls or notices comply with these principles. To date, both DNSH Operational Guidelines with mapping and data sheets and DNSH Certification Checklists have been issued for such compliance verification.
